Got a 4" superlift on my 99, and it's making a god awful squeaking nosie (sounds like somebody getting after it on an old bed). Can't pin point the sound when I crawl under there as it seems like it's coming from every where. Doesn't seem to be affecting the ride, just freaking annoying. Wondering if anybody else had this or something similar going on, or any bright idea's? I'm about ready to start unbolting shit and greasing the hell out of it.

The proper thing to do is to post the solution and potentially help others.

I undeleted this topic for that reason, please tell how you corrected the problem.

Mabey nobody had an answer for you but you could provide an answer for someone else.

Dry A-arm bushings? I vote that.

Just to update you guys. I crawled under there, and had a buddy shake the truck by the drivers door. Best I can figure it's the ball joints. Gotta a buddys wedding coming up, so it might be a couple of weeks before I can get to it, but I'll let ya'll know.

Get a 3/8" piece of vinyl tubing. Put one end up to your ear. Crawl under the truck and have a buddy bounce up and down on it. Beam the other end of the tube at the various suspension components and you should be able to pinpoint the exact source of the noise.

He dose not know the answer that is why he is asking for help.

Me and Allan have been here a long time. From Allan's response, I am guessing that there were some posts in this topic that were deleted before it was un-deleted.
