ABS questiones

I was going to Change my front brakes the other day but my dad said that for ABS brakes you have to de-pressurize the brake system in order to do this or it will mess the system up, is this something I should worry about or just a bunch of BS
 
he's talking about when you push the caliper pistons back.. yes SOME abs systems do require this, but its very simple..

you probably don't need to worry about it on yours

all you have to do on this type of system is crack the bleeder open as you push the piston back so that it releases fluid rather than pushing it through the lines
