I had my rear 4.56 gears installed for 159 bucks, but i also took the entire axle, gears and master install kit to them. Would have been a little more if they had to do it with the axle still under the truck. it really just depends on the area in which you live, prices vary.
Got a quote of 150-200 bucks to do the front if i bring the thing to them. Haven't decided on wether i wanna tear it apart or just bring the whole truck to them.
I'd say it's probably worth tearing apart to take to them. At least for me it is - because I know what I'm doing for that part.
I've never set up a differential, nor do I know anyone that has that would be able to guide me. All I have is internet research and a DVR'd episode of Extreme 4x4...and I have to fact the fact that in many cases, knowing how to do something is not the same as actually having done it.
