Need help on a pos chevy lol

89 c1500 with a 4.3 tbi v6 cranks, has spark, has fuel but wont start did a tune up to see if it would start after and it didnt help at all has a new battery im stumped and it aint my truck just curious its kinda bothering

Did this just start one day or did the truck sit for a long time and now you're trying to get it going again. If it's the latter case it could be bad full. Worst case scenario, did you check and make sure you have compression?

Have you tried to spray starting fluid into the TBI to verify it's not a fuel problem? Should run for a sec, if not, the problem could be somewhere in the ignition system. Has the distributor been removed and reinstalled? Is the firing order right?

just kidding...........do the starting fluid like pete said.If it doesnt hit check the timing....could have jumped.
