I Was Wondering If A Sticky Lifter Is A Problem That Should Be Addressed? My 93 4x4 Has That Annoying Clicking Sound On A Cold Start. But It Does Go Away After It Warms Up.

My '02 dose the same thing, it used to do it even when it was hot till I ran some seafoam in the oil, Now it only dose it on a cold start. If the lifter it self it broken the seafoam wont fix it. Ether way its a good Idea to replace the lifter. Now that I think about it there's a member on here Named Wicked Sludge that has 93 3.0 that had a broken lifter, heres a link to his cardomain w/ pics of the lifter http://www.cardomain.com/ride/526265/3
