Something Different 2jz-gte (Atleast I Think so)

So i have a 94 ext cab.... the 3.0 in there i hate it... i was thinkin of doing the 5.0 swap which is practical.. but then i got to thinkin i can pick up a 2jz-gte twin turbo motor and tranny out of a 94 Toyota supra with all the wiring and parts for 1900.. so why not... i kno it'll probably be hell to get it in there i basically gotta redo everything... but i never seen it done.. has anybody on here? lemme know wut ya'll think bout my crazy idea and wut all that would be have to be done

yes it is RWD but isnt that an inline 6 motor which is a lot longer than a v6

I say go for it, nothing some firewall massaging and core support work wont fix, my vote is do it that would be sick

if i where to do a inline motor be the skyline motor like this nissan patrol has, jut me though, whatever you do, just take pictures..

no all supra's are rear-wheel.. im thinking bout it.... and yea it an inline 6 but the power you can get outta it is crazy...

iv always wanted to get a 2wd ranger and do this as well!! id say go for it most definitely!!! it will be badass!!!

a slightly built 9" would handle everything a 2jz could throw out

Hey BallinBoricua13,hows your project coming along you still doing the 2jzgte swap?I'm also doing that swap as well but instead i'm going with the r154 manual transmission.I have a '93 xlt 2wd (4.0l v6 R.I.P.) ranger with a custom built turbo system was doing good untill i over boost it and crack a piston.I was planning to go with forged internals but change my mind and going with a 2jzgte swap instead.Hopefully will be getting the engine by the end of this month,for now i will leave it stock but later on i will single turbo it and going with a standalone ecu.
