Tail Lights >>> Help Please

Ok This Is My Issue My Tail Lights Are Supposedly Made For My Truck Model And Year But The Dont Fit Flush I Wanna Sand Down The Plastic On The Inside Cuz I See Where They Are Blockin It From Bein Flush With My Truck But I Dont Wanna Screw Them Up Any Ideas Or Anyone Help ?

The material is usually thick enough to do some minor adjustments if you feel the need. You got a pic of how far off they are. That might help us guide you in whether or not it will work. I know mine are a tad off, but not enough that it is noticeable to anyone but me. Good Luck

what are the black lil rubber things are they there for a reason

Damn good looking lights.

The area circled is obviously where the screw comes through and is extra thick for the bones heads that crank them down super tight. You can take some, I said "some" material off there to help it sit more flush with the body. I would not go crazy on it though.
The small rubber tubes, I believe they are for venting condensation from inside the light. I could be wrong, but that is my guesstimation - LOL.

yep the rubber tubes are for ventilation, before u install em in your truck get some clear silicone and add some in all the clear lense border from the back of the housing add it generously but avoiding to spot the front part, cuz if im not wrong they are going to let water in when they have the first chance, and the interior finish will be damaged. just trying to keep you from a big piss of later

I have some lights that look like those and mine were't fitting flush. It turned out that the bolts that were inside (It's been so long I can't remember) I think holding on tailgate hardware were too long. I ground the ends off of the bolts and the lights just fell right into place.
