Ive got a 92 Ranger supercab that im gonna be putten on the road soon. was checkin out the brakes today and notices that half of the middle leaf in the pack is gone. its gonna be dd, so should i be ok as is? or should i throw in a add-a-leaf? i dont wanna drop in a new pack yet if i dont have to. (was plannin on skyjacker system eventually)

I would have to say you should replace it. If half of it is gone, it isn't really doing it's job is it? Not sure how it broke, but couldn't that other half fall out at any time? If it did fall out,and hit another car on the road, you are going to be in big trouble. That is just my opinion though.

yeah. i was hopin i could get by without fixin it. but o well. gives me a reason to lift it sooner.
thanks

yeah change them out .... but do both sides ...... you could also look into chevy leaf swap.......... don't kn ow much about this though ..... if you don't want to invest alot right now just get some leafs from your local pick and pull.
