which electrical connector is which ?

So my 4.0/2.9 swap is nearing the end, and all i have to finish up is the wiring. Heres the thing. The motor is out of a '91 ranger, and the harness is out of a slightly newer explorer (it had a 3g alternator).There are a few grey connectors, and a few black ones, but how do i know which one plugs into which ? Where can i find this info out ? Thanks :headbang:

Get a wiring diagram for each engine.

Unless you like hearing "that squishy sound"
you should have the manuals for ALL parts
that you are using for your engine swap.

I INSISTED on using the '92-up internal fan alternator
But I must get out of my cave more because I
haven't seen the "3G" label applied to it...
