Anybody have any idea what throttle cable will work with the following setup...

1986 Ranger, 91 mustang 5.0 HO. The cable that is in my pickup is a really short one for the Carburetor setup. I am switching to Fuel injection and the way the throttle body works is it rotates towards the firewall which gives me a few clearance issues. Would I be better off to rotate the throttle body to change the position???

Any help, ideas, and pictures would be great.

Lokar universal throttle cable. Just feed it through the firewall, hook through the bracket for the throttle body and you're done. Voila, perfect!

+1 on the Lokar. I had to replace my stock throttle cable from the 4-banger cause it was too long for the v-8. the lokar cabe was cut-to-fit, and is really high quality w/ stainless braid and aircraft fittings. A little pricey, but really nice, and a perfect fit....

You can use your old one, you just have to fab. new brackets. If you want simple the Lokar is nice but spendy.
