Relocating the intake

I was wondering if anyone had pictures or info on relocating the intake, I have already ruined one airfilter by playing in puddles and I want to see what other people have done to make the stock set-up less straw like....
 
Theres a couple ways to "mod" your stock intake, some people replace the rubber parts with pvc, with the necessary bends so you get smoother flow, id say wait for someone on here to reply that has modded their intake
