I spilled red crystal light all over my ****ing carpet in my truck :bawling:. I can't get the stain out and need advice(besides a steamer). :dunno:

I'd try WD-40 to dissolve the red dye and then use shampoo or carpet shampoo to wash out the WD-40.

WHATEVER SUGGESTIONS YOU GET - FIRST TRY THEM ON A SAMPLE SPOT SOMEWHERE INCONSPICUOUS TO MAKE SURE THEY DON'T REMOVE THE REAL COLOR.

spray carb/brake cleaner removes ANYTHING.....but use the above rule FIRST..........:headbang:

Thats why they always say don't drink-n-drive... you might hit a bump and spill your drink.:icon_rofl:

What my mother did to get some of that out of the carpet in her van was get a towel that you don't care about it, put it over the stain, and iron it. It drew the stain into the towel from the carpet.

I can't remember if the stain/carpet had to be wet though. If it doesnt work with the carpet dry try wetting it.

dilute some "simple green" and scrub it in with a brush. then vacuum it out.

if all else fails, pull the carpet and take it to a car wash. degrease spray + spray soap + rinse = miracle worker. all it costs is about $2, some wrenches, and a couple hours.
