Needs motor work...I'd find out what engine is in it...not that it matters if you're good at rebuilds or want to swap something else in...

since its an 89 i think it has the 2.9 so i figured i would swap a 4oh in it

Is the 4.0 a direct drop in on a 2.9 tranny or are they different? I've not been paying much attention to the specs on these...Mine had an auto 2.9 and if I had known I coulda dropped in a 4.0 I'd be a bit upset...but it was auto 2wd so not really a big deal...
