I own a 94 mazda b2300 pu,2.3 L ac/ps and with manual 5 speed.Need more information on how to remove timing belt cover, have a chilton but so far doesn't seem to help.I have removed fan and fan cover, water pump pulley, loosened ac pulley, taken out screw from cover and bottom nut from cover, still doesn't seem to want to come off.Do I need to pull crankshaft pulley? It seems to be behind this pulley.Would appreciate the help and better yet a diagram or picture to help me also.

You have to remove the crank pulley anyway to change the belt. I believe autozone has detailed instructions with pictures on-line, that may help. Set the motor to tdc before you remove the crank pulley, it will make things easier later.

the bolt on the tensioner is a torx. I think it's t47.
