91 ranger no brake lights

91 ranger the tail lights work but i have no brake lights and the turn signals in the rear also dont work, i checked the fuses and the bulbs and all seem ok, where should i look now? i am looking for a fix that wont cost me anything.. thanks

Sounds like a bad turn signal switch to me.

would that cause the brake lights to not come on when i press the brakes?

the turn signals in the front work, could it still be a bad switch? i am looking for a quick fix i am more concerned about the brake lights..

Did you look for a broken wire? Search that first then.
