what smaller ps boxes will fit into a 1st gen ranger? my headers hit the box and i would like to have extra clearance for the uh..........ehhem....... 350 sbc. or is there something else i can do for this?:dunno: :icon_confused:

Put a manual box it. That's the only bolt in box that's smaller than what you have now.

sorry, not happening. i need power steering.

Then there is nothing smaller that will bolt right on that is available.

ok thank you for the help then. new blade for band saw-check, new spool of welding wire-check, new bottle of welding gas-check, patience-dammit

If you run out of ideas, I'd look to see what the modular and BBF people are doing to get around the issue...
