Thank's alot, been looking all day for it.It's my boys truck he said it does not hold an idle and stalls out but drives smooth on highway. He had the code pulled and said that sensor was the problem. It is behind the oil pump on the auxilary shaft. You have to pull the timing cover to get to it.shady
The Crank Position sensor is behind the timing belt cover on the 2.3, the Cam Shaft Position sensor either does not exist, or they have them below the intake on the side of the block.
My original block for my 94 did not have one, but my new block does. My computer does not recognize it, so I went with my original wiring harness; no problems.
I am getting a code for it,so it has to have one.Your 94 doesnt, his 96 does
just looked up parts,it look's like it has one.I am getting a code for it,so it has to have one.
The guy called me today and said he has to tear down the engine to get to it,maybe he meant taking the timing cover off.
I'll go to ford tomorrow and find out for sure.
THANK'S
