Can I use a T-Bird IRS 7.5" differential? What about the internal parts?

I found a great deal on a 7.5 differential from a 1990 thunderbird with independant rear suspension.
From the housing, it doesn't look like I can just swap it in as a whole.
The only thing I really want from it is to pull the spiders and replace the old ones in my ranger.

Also, just how much of it can be used on a ranger?

You might want to double check that. I could be wrong, but I think the IRS in the Tbird is 8.8...If it is 7.5, you can use the ring and pinion, spiders, and carrier, but you can't use the housing. The diff cover can be used, and is prefered due to the increased capacity as well as heat dissipation

T-bird IRS is 8.8

T-bird IRS is 8.8

If it's a V8 or supercharged and still has the factory rear it's an 8.8.

NA V6 models are 7.5.

There may be a difference with the spider gears since the IRS stub axles may be retained differently than normal C-clip axles, but the carrier (besides the spider gears) will be the same.

That diff is already sold as nobody responded in time, so no need to elaborate now.
