Ok guys, I have a 94 explorer 4 by....about bone stock. Well the poor guy has 240k on the motor, and the 4.0 is tired.
Good news is, I have a 91 f150 4x4, with a efi 5.0 drivetrain for a donor. everything but the body and frame are in excellent shape, low miles, ect.
So now my question is, what can i use? can i get away with motor, trans and transfer case if i just modify the drive shafts? can i steal the spindles with aftermarket locking hubs already in them? Ideas in any form would be awesome,
