ive got a 94 ranger. originally a 4.0, but ive since swapped in an efi 331. ive got all the stock guages wired up to work except for the tach since it will read wrong. is there a switch or a dial on the back of the tach to make it work with a v8? i dont wanna tear the cluster out unless theres actualy something i can do with it. and i dont really want a big aftermarket tach in it either.

To reset it. you'll need another tach to compare readings. There are two "round thingy's" (sorry I forget the correct term for them) on the rear of the tach, you can adjust the readout by turning the centers with a screw driver to correct the readout for a V8. I used another tach to match the readouts.
