I'm curious as to who else has gotten this code? It's a misfire on #6. I replaced my spark plugs/wires today. The truck runs a hell of a lot smoother. I erased the code and took the truck for a 20 mile test drive and I haven't had the CEL come back on. Would the light come on immediately after erasing the code because it was a misfire or will it be random? Anyone have anything different with this code? Any input from you Ford Tech's on here?

I have a misfire on cyl #1. if I erase it with my ode scanner, it will come on the 2nd time I drive the truck after I reset it. If I disconnect the battery, I can go sometimes 40miles before it will come on. I have low compression on cyl 1 and 3 though, I never get one for cyl 3, tryin new coil pack in a week when it gets here to see if it helps the misfire.

Anyways, depending on how you erased the code. It will come on soon if the problem is still there.

I drove it for 20 miles last night and I drove it up to the shop this morning, about 10-15 miles. Light still hasn't come on. I'm going to hook up the Modis anyway and see what it says.
