i have a 1988 ford ranger but it has a 1987 2.9l with a 87 mits. 5-speed tranny. now i just got the entire thing rebuilt and put in with a brand new slave cylinder no the line that goes from the resivoir to the slave cylinder is held in with a coiled clip. now the fitting has " o " rings in it and everytime i try to put the clip in it breaks the o rings and letts air passes when im trying to bleed it ...is there anything spcial i ahve to use like o rings or something.. i know the fitting is pushed in as far as it will go any help is appriciated..
Thank You
Justin

where did you install the O-ring?

Because the O-ring gets shoved into the hole in the slave then the metal end fitting goes in and then the clip , the O-ring does NOT get installed in the "Groove" on the end fitting.

I was putting the o rong in the groove and then pushing the clip in and it kept breaking the o ring...... So put the o ring in the hole then slide the fitting in ... then the clip ...and i shouldnt have a problem?
