In the last two weeks I got a bad ign. rotor and a bad Motorcraft sparkplug. The tang on the rotor was a little off center but I thought it would be okay.....wrong. It was bad enough that it was bleeding through the FM radio. I took the cap off today and put the old one back in and now it's fine. The plugs electrode was way off center, over a 16th of an inch. I just took it back and got a new one. The electrodes on several of the others were off a little but not bad enough to take back.

Funny you mention spark plugs. I just replaced mine with Motorcraft and one had a cracked insulator in two places.

Where did you purchase this from?

The plugs at Autozone and the rotor from Orielly's. Im glad I kept the old rotor. The plugs I fouled out were Bosch Plat +2's that I got from Advance and the first one I opened up had been used and put back in the box and taped shut. I just wonder if Autozone will just sell that bad plug to someone else,I hope not.

I bought my motorcraft plugs from autozone. I try to buy motorcraft parts unless autozone doesn't have em or they are too expensive.
