. ive been a mustang fan for several years now and after i totaled my 93 GT back in 2006, i toyed with the idea of stuffing the 5.0 in a ranger. then someone just popped up one day about a week before i bought the truck to make the swap. they offered me $1000 for the pile of scrap that used to be a car. well time passed and i saw my opportunity and jumped on it. i traded my quad for another 5.0 stang (bad shape frame and body wise but driveable) anyway...now im in the process of making a deal for a 1996 ranger splash to perform the transplant on. i will be converting from efi to carb and doing a complete rebuild along the way. i already have my parts list for the motor to get it ready. but if anyone has any helpful hints or tips they know from maing a successful swap then please feel free to pass them my way. i do know my way around under a hood fairly well but im also not a profssional mechanic, so any help from experienced ford guys will definitely be appreciated
