Anybody with a dynomax super-tubo on their 4.0?

A good muffler? Ive heard different reviews about them, some say theyre way too quiet most say just the right tone and nice idle sound. Does anybody here have one of these for their 4.0 or 3.0?

i have one on my 4.0 and i think its too quiet for an aftermarket muffler.it basically sounds like a f-150 with a stock muffler.has a little rumble when u get on it but nothin special

Dang I might have to get the resonator removed. Tha'll be another 75 bucks. Any noticable performance gains?

it increased my gas mileage from average 18 to about 21.and a lil bit more power maybe 10 hp gain

Well I put mine on yesterday with a new k&n filter. Gettin the old pipes off was a bitch I had to saw it off by hand(yeah I know karate). I'm likin it so far. Nice rumble and definatly a few hp performance gain especially with the air filter. 4 stars.

I had a feeling you'd like it--it's a quiet system as far as performance exhaust systems go, but it gives back enough noise to remind you it's there when you stomp on the gas. :icon_thumby:

And yeah, sawing the old system is the hard part. I've done it by hand (hack saw) before and it was not fun--being on the ground under the vehicle makes that simple task 10x harder. Fortunately I had a new bi-metal blade on the recip saw this time. :icon_cheers:
