so i was digging thru wikipedia and noticed the dif (and lovely) hp and torque numbers on the lima ohc 2.3 motor and the duratec 2.3 motor. 40 more horse and an updated valvetrain plus all the neat stuff for a fuktus got me thinking...(scary i know) since the duratec 2.0/2.3/2.5 motor is the replacement for the lima 2.0/2.3/2.5 motor, will the bellhousing patterns interchange? i dug around on wikipedia but couldnt find where it says yes or no on the page, i see they are in dif categories and listings and i also realize the newer motor is mazda based but no clear def of "yes it will interchange" or "no it wont"...i have a 92 2.3 ranger and a buddy w/ a 06 2.0 sohc fuktus hes willing to part w/, any input on this?
