I got some new leaf spring bushings to replace my old cracked and split ones. Today I was looking and noticed both the front and back bracket that holds the leaf springs on each side look like there gonna fall apart. Ive searched a little bit but I cant find anywere online were I can buy some new brackets. Any idea's?

ya thats about right. Maybe not that bad but it looks like you can just shove a screw driver through it lol. I was hoping to find somewere besides ford to get these. There gonna be expensive from them. Im guessing around 150 at least to get a full set for both sides. I found one on ebay for 100 plus shipping and there actual ford parts brand new but I still want to look around and see if I can find some else were.

I'd only say LMC, ebay, or the ford stealership( Watch their nuts and bolts, they are very proud of them and the price of them reflects this.)

No... I went the hardware store and bought my grade 8 bolts for like 3 bucks. They wanted $10 for each bolt and $5 for each nut. I was saying it as a joke, because it is a joke.

I wasn't too sure if that was meant to be a serious remark or not. Even McMaster-Carr is cheaper than the Dealer.....

Do you guys know if 97 and earlier model spring bushings will work on a 99 ranger. Are the leafsprings the same? I just tore the S*#^ out of mine replacing my shackles.

I priced these brackets a while ago at a Ford dealership and they were not that expensive at all. $15-$25 each IIRC. They even had them on the shelf.
