whats the process someone could go through to get a new tittle for a car if you buy a car from someone without a tittle? lets say you piece a car together from several diff cars could you get a all together new vin for it?

In Ohio you take it to the nearest Highway Patrol inspection station.

I have always wondered why people sell cars with a bill of sale for a lost title. In Ohio they just need to go to the last county they had it registered and get a duplicate title.

In OK u have to do a title 42. I had someone do mine. Essentially it was a mechanics lien. It cost me 170 bucks to finally get the title, but well worth it.
