I've got a 94 Explorer that has a 93 oil pan on it. I used a 94 gasket on it, which is flat aluminum. The 93 is a rubber rope-type seal that sits in a groove in the pan rail. Will it leak? Just wondered if anyone else has run into this problem.

Yep, '93 and '94 use completely different gaskets. It looks like the gasket I have will work, though.
