Chevy 1500's in the J/Y

I went to the local pull-a-part to get some stuff for my truck and decided to check out the chevy 1500's and see if they have anything (seeing that my g/f just got one and needs some stuff for it). There were 18 in the yard (there are only 4 rangers) and all 18 of them had the front ends of them gone. The engine, transmission, fenders, everything :icon_rofl:

!! I thought it was so funny. Makes you wonder why all of them were gone.

yea same here. i went last week to get one of those retractable hood lights they have and all the front ends were completly tore apart/missin on all of them

If it's the old ones you guys are talking about, the front clips probably got used for rust repair. I would imagine the newer ones probably got their motors pulled for customers wanting to swap them into something else, and removing the front clip was probably the easiest way of getting everything out.

Our pull a part has a few Chevy 1500's and a lot of Rangers and other RBVs.
