I bought a set of replacement headlights for my 1998. The originals are yellowed. I bought both the headlights and turn signal lights. It looks like a really strange system to hold them in. The clip that holds them in looks like I would need a specialty tool for? Input? Thanks.

Yep it sure does - look at your right hand - that is the tool for the left light and . . . :tease:

You can use a pair of needle nose pliers to get them off and back on, just push firmly on the light housing when installing to get the peg all the way in. ALSO make sure the adjusters are equal to the stock ones. This will minimize how much adjustment will be needed later.

It there possibly a tutorial for this. I am looking at these like voo-doo.

I know that you are replacing your headlights.

So this is for other people that maybe looking at this thread.

Its possible to clean up yellowed lights. I have done so on 3 of my vehicles over the last 5 years.

I used a metal polishing product I used on my motor cycles with the thought in my head that I couldn't possible make it worse then it already was.

And amazingly the metal polish( autosol its called) worked not only well but like brand freaking new well. It did take a few minutes to polish up the plastic lens. I do not recommend a buffer the headlights alignment pins will tear it up.
