I've got a 2005 Ford Ranger that i'm trying to remove the passenger side airbag. The truck has an on/off switch for the airbag, but turning it off and disconnecting it still throughs the airbag light. I've metered the plug and tested the ohms on it. Then made a jumper wire, with resistors in series, to bring it to 4.7 ohms....but no success.
Does anyone have any suggestions? And no, Ford does not sell a bypass plug.
