Merkur Scorpio...any possible upgrades for RBV's?

Hi, there is a complete Merkur Scorpio in a junkyard near me, and I'd like to know if there is anything that would be useful or better on them than the RBV version of the 2.9. I would have checked it out better, but I needed to pull another part, and I couldn't get the hood openon the Merkur.

not much, the intake and computer are different, and i have one of each. they were rated at 144 hp (vs 140 in the truck) but i have to assume that bottom end suffered a little. the accessories are all different too im pretty sure. i do know that to put a scorpio upper intake on a ranger 2.9, you need to change the thermostat housing as well. you also need to consider weather the engine is egr or not. i'm not gonna end up using my stuff cause i'm gonna swap in a 4.0

if its a cosworth dohc engine (good luck finding one in the us) they made nearly 200 hp.

oh yeah, dont forget you need to figure out something for the intake ducting as well.
