I go to get new bearings, inner and outter for the front right side of my truck, and the parts store listed the wrong bearing for my truck. My 95 has a tappered bearing and they gave me a non tapper. What is the proper bearing for my year. Has someone changed the front spindle and rotor on my truck or is the parts store wrong. Does it matter what chunk I have. I think its a 35 hybrd.

If its a hybrid, it will still use all of the same parts as the d35 except for the carrier and inner axle shafts.
It should have cone and roller bearings, the parts store is very wrong.

Thats what I thought. I'll let them know tomorrow they have the wrong listing. Just a little inconvient that I had the rotor off when I opend the box to find the wrong bearing. I have to wait for the new proper bearings to come in tomorrow, and change them after work. good thing its not a big job. Thanks for the info.

sounds like they gave you rear bearings cause those are non taper, fronts should be a bca 37 or timkin or what ever brand

Timkin set 37 is what I got for bearings. I tried to get spindle bearings but they could not find them on their computer. Is there a real need to replace them? How do you know if they are bad?

Just ask for spindle bearings for a d44...same thing.

The fisrt set of bearings that I got were A37. The proper bearings are LM603049. The numbers are the same from brand to brand. I had a timkin and some other brand before, and the new bearings are moog. I got them from Partsource. $28 for two (canadian).
