ok i think im going to paint little foot.but i would like to keep the blue thats above the body line and only reclear it. so how would i do that, any tips and tricks would be great.

im not going to make a new thread for this, but does anyone know if they make mud flaps like this for a 93 ranger? the ones i had would get cought up in the tire

For the spot you just want to reclear, you can just wetsand with 600 grit, and hit the edges with a gray scotchbrite. Make sure you don't break through anywhere, if you do you'll need to spray color on that spot.
