spedo and odometer no working?

hey i have a 1993 ford ranger 2wd reg cab with the fire breathing 2.3cyl and my spedometer and odometer do not work at all. as well as my tach and all the other gages are off by a half. i dont know where to start, some help please. thanks in adavnce
