I have a 1998, and wondering what it would look like with the front drop springs and rear flip...
(I have a Mazda B2500 extended cab)

Welcome to TRS - there are a few members with the newer style Ranger that are dropped, you might want to add "how much" drop you are interested in as well. On a side note I have a set of 3" drop springs for a 98 + Ranger should you decide to take the plunge - PM me about them.

Good Luck

Wow, quick reply! Thanks...
The amount of drop I would like, I guess depends on whether or not I could still keep specs for camber once the lowering springs go in up front... I don't want to spend big money on new control arms at this point...
Any pics that you know of for '98+? I looked through several pages in this forum.

I was just looking at the DJM 4/5 kit. Is this the one that requires C-notching the frame rails out back? Also, I see a wide range of prices out there for the same kit, most expensive being DJM themselves. Is the Ranger kit the same as the Mazda? Summit lists the kit for 1998+ Ranger, but not for Mazda in the same years...
I think I may take your advice and do the 4/5. The kit looks really nice with their powder coated components, and should eliminate all my alignment concerns. Was there any special considerations when you did your conversion? I love how your truck looks.

I would highly recommend the DJM 4/5 kit with the Doetsch Nitro Slammer shocks I sell a package deal with both as well as seperate. You will not want to do a notch in the rear because if you do you will have issues with the driveshaft rubbing under the cab. Basically when the frame touches the axle there is just a tiny amount of clearance left. People that do notch in the rear with a static slam or air ride need to tunnel for the driveshaft in the ext cab part of the truck. If you have any product specific questions please feel free to email me brian@illusivefabrications.com Support the ranger station vendors :)
