Just wanted to stop by an introduce myself. I am picking up my 2008 Ranger Sport on Monday morning.. can't wait.
I got a reg. cab, manual 3.0 liter, power package, cruise / tilt, and body side moldings. Black exterior, grey interior.
I'll post a pic after I pick it up. I had 3 previous rangers and loved them all, cannot wait to be driving another. Any tips or advise on the 2008 would be greatly appreciated. I plan to leave pretty much stock, except I would like to put a cold air kit and after market exaust on it... any thougts...
thanks
Brian

Welcome, the people here have lots of good info. That being said, most of them will tell you not to waste your money on a "cold air kit" considering the stock set up is already a cold air intake.

Thanks for the tip, I picked it up this afternoon, and love it so far. Runs great, once the rain we are getting in North Fla stops I'll take some pics.. Guess instead of the cold air kit, I will just swap out the stock air filter for a K&N.

I like it! Lower that bad boy a few inches and when it is broken in, run synthetics! I bet you could break 30 mpg.
