Well, my favourite hockey team is winding down yet another dreary season...they're in the process of rebuilding and lately they've shown some real talent and coagulation...but just a tad too late to make the playoffs...

My second team is now Vancouver since Sundin moved there...and they've got a good shot at the Cup this year...but I'm really looking at the finals with SJ and Boston in there...

Any other hockey fans predictions...

I say Boston will actually take the cup this year...but the first round will tell the tale...

Only one thing wrong with hockey, there's no Quarterback.

:icon_rofl:

thing is...when you pay for tickets to watch a hockey game and they give you a quarter back, you're probably gonna need it to get home...I can't believe how much they charge for a seat in an arena that seats over 20,000 people...

i would love to see boston win the cup. im guessing either Boston or Detroit. not looking good for canada this year. the only team that really has somewhat of a chance is Vancouver i think

Yeah, the Canucks are about the only team that I would bet on, but you never know...always the underdogs that surprise everyone...

Did you play organized hockey as in Junior A,B, C or NHL level?

I tried out for a Junior C team when I was about 16 and almost made it...but I was a bit too lazy and really needed to improve my skating...aside from that, I heard it was one of the dirtiest leagues in the system...and my fighting skills at the time were also lacking...

HAHAHA I'm assuming your team is the maple leafs? When will people learn? lol joking but what do you think Burke will try to do to get Tavares? He seems pretty content.

mostly i just played on a AA travel team till i graduated high school. i also played for the high school team but that league was a joke pretty much. we all just played to screw around haha. a family member had a friend that was did scholarship stuff for Colorado College's team and convinced him to watch a game we had in Denver and said i could get a scholarship if i wanted but i was too stupid at the time and decided not to play in college. huge mistake.

I think we had a Junior C team for a couple season and it was nothing but fighting.

GO LeAfs GO...golfing...lol

Actually, they have a pretty strong team right now...but it took them too long to get to that point...next season the Leafs are going to be big time contenders...

Not sure if Tavares would add to the chemistry at this point, but talent on the front lines is what they need...and defence...oh, and goaltending...that's all the Leafs need...haha...

Yeah, too bad you didn't pursue it...never know where you might have ended up...
