I am doing a 4 link in my ranger, and am using a disc brake explorer axle. I noticed the factory brake lines on my 87 use a large and a small fitting on the master cylinder, and the newer disc brake master cylinder has switched the position of the fittings front to back. Which part of the master cylinder is responsible for the read brakes on the new one? I believe the front fitting is used for the front brakes, is it the same on the newer master cylinder? I was thinking I could just switch the fittings from the brake lines and reflare them. Also, I have heard alot of people do not use a proportioning valve on their disc brake conversion. How is the performance? Is there alot of nose dive on braking or does it work fairly well? I can upload pics of the 4 link too if youd like
