My new Ranger has a torsion bar front end. Is there anything I should know before I lower it?

well for one, welcome to The Ranger Station, ull find everything u need to modify your truck right here. i wouldnt worry about the tortion bars for now, i would look around for things like flipkits for axle or shackles for rear, and coils or control arms for the front.

Welcome Bruce
There is some members here with the newer Rangers, not sure if they have them lowered or not. But PLEASE keep a track of what you do and let us know. If you are not a good technical writer, take notes and photos and someone would help to write it up.

if you have torsion bars lwering yours is the same as an edge or a 4wd. there are no coils or ready made control arms. look around at how to lower an edge. there are a few ways like uncranking the torsion bars, flipping the keys, remove the blocks in the rear, flip the shackles, but remember you have a suspension that has about no aftermarket support.
