Hi all -

My manual seems to lack the torque spec for the 4 bolts used to attach the serpentine belt pulley to the front of the crankshaft.

It didn't take much to remove them 20-30 ft-lb but I'd like to put them on right.

Also, would using some blue Loctite on them make sense?

Thanks!

- Bill

tighten them by hand you dont need to over do them and a little lock tight never hurt anything just dont use it on spark plugs lol

Hi -

The saga continues after a break to investigate fuel starvation on my other vehicle.

I am still in the 'diagnosis' phase and am almost finished removing the head.

I have removed the serpentine belt, manifolds and have the studs out too but the head seems to be glued to the block and I can't see an obvious place to apply a pry bar.

I've banged on the forward and rear cam bearing mounts to no avail.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

- Bill

If you have a pry bar that has a plastic covered handle, take the covered handle and put it into a intake, or exhaust port and give it yank.
