Hey everyone,
With all the rain we have had down here my dirt roads are a mess, so I do what I always do in my lil 3.0 auto, I put it down into 2nd gear and give it some gas. But something weird happened today, the ABS and the emergency brake light came on and stayed on until I shut off the truck and restarted it. Any idears? Thanks everyone!

check your brake lines...you might have ripped a line off on your rear

oh no...ill go check...where would i check?

I don't think you ripped off a brake line. There is a sensor deal on top the the hogs head (rear axle) its probably gone bad got wet muddy or something. They cost about 20 bucks or so last time I got one.

before you go doing anything just drive it again. If the abs sees a difference in the front and rear wheel speeds i.e. spinning on a muddy road itll shut the abs off and turn the lights on!

Ding Ding!!

There's no actual problem with the truck at all, the wheels spinning just confuses all the electronical gizmatical crap they put on vehicles nowadays (and is harmless to the vehicle... you can continue spinning them to get unstuck if needed without damaging anything). You just have to recycle the ignition again and it will clear itself back to normal.
