Ive got a superchips programmer, and the check engine lights keeps popping up and the diagnostic code says P0455 Evap Emission Control System Gross Leak Detected. Any Idea's on how to fix it or what it is? I can turn off the light but after about 3 days itll pop back up. Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks
 
you have a large evap leak. they light will come back randomly as it samples the system. it should be smoke tested to see where the leak is, from my experience alot of times its a stuck canister purge solenoid. doesnt mean thats what yours is but your not lookng fr a pin hole (.020) or a large eak (.040) by fords standards
 
Is this a huge problem i should get fixed right away? or is it not a real big deal?
 
well you wont pass inspection and you wont pass emissions. it wont hurt the truck but depending on whats going on you might smell fuel
