I have a 94 4.0l and am having trouble shifting AFTER the truck warms up. Any ideas? I need all the help I can get.

Sounds like your slave cylinder to me im currently having the same problems it only happens after it has warmed up is it difficult to get it in first gear? like at a red light or what not?

99RangerBoss, just curious, does it shift into 1st any easier if you put it in 1st as you are coming to the light (like at 5-10 mph)?
And grizzlypaugh, first of all, you should check the basics. Does the tranny have enough/ the CORRECT fluid? Is you're clutch master cylinder fluid topped off? How is the pedal, does it engage low, or high, or where it should)?

nope its not any easier, i know my clutch fluid is good but i should really check the tranny fluid level, but when the motor is off it shifts like a dream, just like the 7 second truck i wish it was lol.

I'd check the tranny fliud, and next I would think about the slave cyl. .
