i was wondering if anyone had pix of how they got rid of the center armrest and seat i really:headbang: dont want to go cutting into them blind

Did you see the article on the main page?

yes i saw its just that the pix look a bit old and poor quality

OK, I was just hoping that might cover all your questions. I'm not sure past that, to me it seemed easier to just find a set of bucket seats instead.

You actually only need ONE bucket the drivers seat.

the passenger seat already is a bucket.

The drivers seat you have now has an overhanging shelf,
but it's REALLY a bucket in disguise.

Thanks for the reminder - I'd forgotten about that. Just finished cutting off the arm and adjusting the fabric. Now I have to look for a console.

i followed the pics in the tech library and it worked fine:icon_thumby:, i went to wal-mart and found a console that was made for a mini van and cut the pattern of the floor into the sides of the console. it works great, bout a couple of seat covers and my interior is complete:yahoo:, i'll post some pics tomorrow

Did you get the $30 Clutter Catcher? That's what I grabbed last night, sounds like what you're describing. I didn't do anything to the console, just put a short piece of 1x4" wood against the floor and bolted it down, then set the console on top and screwed it down.

yeah i havnt been able to upload any pixs of mine but it only took me like an hour or less to change from a 60/40 to two buckets i am working on a custome fiberglass center console for mine though

I just cut out mine tonight. It's fairly straight forward. The seat cover is held in place by plastic clips bout 4 inches long and slid into the bottom of the seat frame. They pop off easily. Once you have it pulled back you'll see the foam and frame. the foam can be removed with a sharp knife. Then the fun begins. You can use a hack saw or a cut off wheel. I used both. The hack saw is a lot of work but it cut faster than the wheel. The whole job took bout an hour. Be sure to have some seat covers to go over the existing covers cause you will have some serious droop on the side removed. When finished you can't even tell it was ever a 60/40!

well i did it and it looks clean turned out better than i thaught =]
