a big bronco question.

I might should ask this on FSB but it just doesn't have the same feel as TRS so i will ask here first because I am sure some of you either have or have had a big bronco.

Could i put a regular pick up tailgate (with out a lot of modification) on it and have a rag top for it...... i have a removable hard top and I am not sure why but i would really like a rag top. And me and the bronco tail gate are not getting along. maybe my problem could be fixed with a manual window tailgate (if one exists for my 91)

im not sure if a regular tailgate would fit or not. it might be too wide. i would measure it and find out. i know it wouldn't work on a 92-96 but im not sure on the older ones.

if youre just going to put a rag top on i dont see why it wouldnt work if it fits

I think the gates are the same width from a truck to a bronco. However the latching system and the hinges are completely different and will require some modification.
