Looks like those same "resistor on the coolant temp sensor snake oil things." Except this one is a variable resistor (potentiometer), which can be bought at Radioshack for about 10 cents. Although I don't recommend doing that either.

Yellow paint makes your truck faster too. So does waxing it up really good because the air slides over the paint easier.
