HELP!!!!speedometer/odometer in my 96 Ranger don't work

The speedometer and Odometer in my 96 ranger don't work, did some searching on rangerstation told me to replace speed sensor I did still doesn't work. What else could the problem be I can't find a wiring diagram for the speedometer or instrument panel I have a chilton. does a 96 have another sensor on the axle also the ABS light is on I don't have ABS? Is that connected in some way

Fixed

I had trouble in my 96 2wd 4 cyl without tach on the speedo

I followed the tech page on rangerstation and bought the speed sensor didn't fix so I checked the wiring grey wire was split . So I crimped it up work like a charm

My Tip is CHECK YOUR WIRING mainly near the tranny and engine something can get pinched especially if you dropping the tranny changing the clutch or what have you. would have saved me money on the speed sensor.
