I was out wheelin yesterday in my 90 Bronco2 and got stuck in some DEEP water and mud a few times but got out with no problems.Truck worked flawless all day and after about 6 hours decided to head home. Before I left I unlocked my hubs and hit the buttons to put truck back to 2wd.No problems.
About a mile down the road I see on my dash the "4x4" light comes on and the "4low" next to it is flashing. On the push button module is the same thing, lite for "4x4" is on and low is flashing. Truck is driving normal,no noises, nothing to indicate a problem so I pull over.
I hit the low button and I hear the t-case engage and all lites stay on. I hit low again and it dis-engages and low lite goes off.I hit 4wd button and it goes off as well. I take off down the road and another mile or so it all repeats.I stop again and get everything to turn off only to have this all repeat over and over until I get home.

I have a rebuilt shift motor in the truck and this is the first time I have had a problem. My question is could this just be a problem with the t-case or shift motor or does the A4LD transmit trouble codes thru the 4wd module as well?

I searched but could only find info on newer drivetrain trucks.
